You can still have the modern trappings you love and need.  You will also see most of the people around you smiling, instead of looking miserable. Another bonus is that your lifestyle moves up a notch, just by going there. Thailand is everything you’ve heard about, plus a bit more.

This isn’t a travel brochure, nor is it a nicey nice look at a country.  Instead, here you will find facts and items that other books on Thailand leave out. There will be some things you may not want to read. There will be some things you will not believe. Yet everything is here for a purpose; to educate and inform you.

For those readers who have never been there, Thailand is not paradise, it has it faults.  I’ll point out as many problems as I can. Then you can either avoid them or not be too surprised when you encounter them.  That said, it’s still a wonderful place to live.

Thai people are some of the best in the world. The sun shines most of the year and, the people genuinely smile a LOT. They can be the most polite people, are very religious and the children are charming.  The living is easy and the people there are often easygoing and expect everyone to be the same. They live life in the now, and let tomorrow go hang. But then, that’s why you are reading this.
